This week, classes 2A and 2D created their own vision boards for the new semester. A vision board is a poster with pictures about your resolutions. Students cut out pictures and drawings and collected their ideas. Then they made colourful lapbooks. This activity helped us practice the “going to” and “will” future forms. Students wrote sentences like, “I am going to travel to Croatia,” and “I am going to go to HTL.” They also shared their boards with the class and spoke about their plans. The classroom was full of creativity and positive energy and most students enjoyed sharing their hopes and dreams. This project helped us improve our English in a fun and personal way. We learned how to talk about our future goals with confidence.
